How the values are derived
The €/m² ranges are a guide and are derived from the federal-state averages already maintained in the portal. A range of around minus 12 per cent to plus 12 per cent is placed around the curated mean value and rounded to 50 euros. They refer to turnkey prefabricated houses per square metre of living space, excluding the plot and ancillary construction costs (Baunebenkosten). The land price level is given qualitatively (low, medium, high) relative to the other federal states. The state development bank complements the nationwide KfW programmes. This table is reviewed annually (as of 2026).
