Where our funding comes from
Prospective builders can use Prefabricated House free of charge. For qualified enquiries, participating construction or advisory partners may pay a referral fee. We disclose operator, ownership and partner relationships separately. On this page we openly explain how our service is financed and which rules apply.
Free for prospective builders
Prospective builders can use Prefabricated House free of charge. Whether you look at example houses with prices, compare floor plans or request quotes – there are no costs for you.
Compensation only for qualified enquiries
For qualified enquiries, participating construction or advisory partners may pay a referral fee. Such an enquiry only arises if you actively decide to request a quote or make contact.
Editorial and commercial kept separate
Editorial content and commercial referral are organisationally separate from each other. Payments from partners must not influence editorial content, assessments, order or comparison presentations.
Relationships clearly disclosed
We mark operator, ownership and partner relationships separately. Where such relationships are known to us, we disclose them transparently; where details are missing, we indicate this as "not stated".
When compensation applies
A referral fee may arise if you actively trigger a qualified enquiry via Prefabricated House – for example by requesting a non-binding quote or seeking contact with a construction or advisory partner. Use remains free of charge for you as a prospective builder; any compensation is borne by the participating partner, not by you. Whether and in what amount compensation is agreed depends on the respective partner.
Editorial content remains unaffected
Partner payments must not influence our editorial content. This applies to guide texts, assessments, the selection and order in overviews as well as comparison presentations. In comparison lists we present providers neutrally and, as a rule, alphabetically. There is no purchasable overall ranking or purchasable recommendations.
- Neither purchasable placements nor recommendations
- Neutral and, as a rule, alphabetical order
- Editorial and referral organisationally separate from each other
- Relationships marked or indicated as "not stated"
How we mark relationships
On the provider detail pages there is a visible transparency field. There we disclose – as far as known – whether an operator, ownership or partner relationship exists, whether the details are editorially reviewed and confirmed by the provider and when the last review took place. If we lack reliable information on this, we expressly note this as "not stated".
