Plegt-Vos: what is behind the brand
Plegt-Vos is a Dutch construction company that, according to the company, has been active for 120 years and employs around 650 staff. The head office is in Hengelo, with further locations including Almelo, Amsterdam, Assen, Eindhoven, Langeveen, Rotterdam and Utrecht. The group is legally registered as Plegt-Vos Bouwgroep BV.
One focus is industrial building in what it calls the smart house factory. There, elements for around 30 complete dwellings are produced weekly, often in timber construction. The concepts are meant to stay flexible in layout, volume and architecture despite standardisation. The company also offers renovation and transformation of existing buildings.
It builds ground-level dwellings and apartments. Orders come mostly from the professional market, for example from developers, investors, housing associations and municipalities. Plegt-Vos thus addresses commercial clients rather than individual private builders in the Netherlands.
