Oosthuis: what is behind the brand
Oosthuis is an independent prefab house builder from Doetinchem in the Netherlands. The company is run by its owners, Tom Giesbers and Fas Jungerius, who accompany builders personally from the first idea to handover. The firm emphasises short lines without changing contacts and a continuous process.
The houses are largely made in the company's own workshop in Doetinchem as prefab construction, including kitchen and bathroom, so that they are almost complete when installed. The process is divided into four steps: getting to know each other and wishes, design and offer, production in the building hall, and installation and handover.
The range includes permanent residential houses, care dwellings, holiday homes and houses for commercial and collective living projects. Each house is planned individually. The website notes that permanent houses require an environmental permit. The focus is on the Netherlands.
