Currently only the Slovak manufacturer Ecocapsule quotes public EUR prices: from approx. €55,000 for the 25 m² Box Classic and approx. €99,000 for the egg-shaped micro unit with around 8.2 m² – in each case as manufacturer information, plus transport, foundation/pitch and connection. The other manufacturers (Armadilla, GLAMNI, Moving Castle, Nestron) do not quote public EUR prices for their models; here it is “on request”. For permanent living in Germany, the permit and pitch must be clarified with the responsible building authority in accordance with the respective state building code.
What a Space Capsule Tiny House as a prefab home costs – the overview
With the Space Capsule Tiny House, the living unit is built almost entirely in the factory: it is delivered largely finished and set up and connected on site in a short time. A binding fixed price ex works makes the calculation predictable – the plot or pitch, foundation, transport, crane and utility connections, however, always come on top.
Important with this special building form: classic new-build funding programmes for residential buildings (such as the KfW loans) require a permanently approved residential house with a proven energy standard – many Space Capsule Tiny House models do not meet this automatically. Therefore clarify the building rights at the installation site and possible funding eligibility before ordering.

Putting per-square-metre costs and the total price 2026 in context
The price for a Space Capsule Tiny House project in prefab construction depends above all on the area, specification and usage requirements. From approx. €55,000 plus incidental costs is a realistic starting price for the basic version (as of 2026).

Public EUR prices for a space capsule tiny house are currently quoted only by the manufacturer Ecocapsule (Slovakia): from approx. €55,000 for the Box Classic (25 m²) and approx. €99,000 for the egg-shaped micro unit (around 8.2 m²). Both values are manufacturer figures, plus transport/foundation/connection. For the other documented size classes, no public prices are available (“on request”). Only Ecocapsule quotes public EUR prices (Box Classic approx. €55,000, egg shape approx. €99,000) – in each case a manufacturer figure. In every case, the following are added: transport and, where applicable, crane assembly (the units can weigh several tonnes), a foundation or prepared pitch, utility connections (water, sewage, electricity) as well as, for manufacturers outside the EU, additional import and customs costs. Setting up a space capsule tiny house in Germany: pitch, permit, use
Whether as a guest house in the garden, holiday accommodation, glamping unit or office capsule: a space capsule tiny house is delivered as a finished unit by truck and, depending on the model, set up with or without a classic foundation. For permanent living, the same building law applies in Germany as for any other building – the decisive factors are the building code of your federal state, the development plan and the intended use. There is no blanket exemption from permits, not even below certain sizes.
In practice this means: before buying, you should clarify with the responsible building authority whether your plot permits a capsule living unit, which procedure applies (building permit, simplified procedure or permit-free) and what requirements exist for servicing, boundary distances and pitch. For delivery, an access route and, where applicable, a crane setup area must also be planned – individual models weigh several tonnes according to manufacturer information.

Space capsule vs. tiny house vs. container house: which compact housing form fits?
The capsule look is the unique selling point of the space capsule tiny house: rounded shapes, panoramic glazing and a fully styled interior from the factory. Anyone looking for more living space or classic rectangular floor plans is often more flexible with a tiny house on a foundation or a container house made of combinable room modules – both are also easier to realise in Germany with common construction methods and energy standards.
A price comparison is only possible to a limited extent, because most capsule manufacturers do not quote public EUR prices. As a guide: tiny houses from German providers usually start in the mid-five-figure range depending on the fit-out, container houses from around €65,000 (30 m²). With the space capsule tiny house, manufacturers outside the EU add transport, import and customs costs.
